Before addressing the question, let’s start with a simple explanation of what a WIZ Outpost is. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Wiz Outpost is a specialized deployment within a customer’s cloud environment designed to handle vulnerability and security monitoring. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It scans all workloads within the customer’s environment, processes disk scans, and manages disk data locally within the customer’s cloud infrastructure. This ensures data sovereignty and prevents data leakage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Using an outpost ensures that customer data remains within the customer’s environment at all times. When an outpost is used, Wiz only receives metadata regarding the environment and its findings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
